Manufacturing
Providence Publishing works only with reputable book manufacturers who use
the highest quality materials: acid-free paper, laminated cover stock
for softcover books, cloth or leather cases for hardcovers, and durable
perfect- or sewn binding. When your book is ready to be printed, it
will be sent to a manufacturer who will print the pages, cover, and/or
dustjacket, and bind the books. Manufacturing normally takes six to
eight weeks. When the finished books are ready, they will be shipped
to PPC’s warehouse. The printing process combines the time-honored
craftsmanship of fine book production with cutting-edge technology,
and the result is a beautiful book that will stand the test of time.
Warehousing
and Inventory Management
After your books are completed, you may choose to take possession of the entire
print run, or you may choose to utilize PPC’s warehouse and inventory
management services. Our warehouse services ensure that your books will be
stored in a secure, climate-controlled environment. We also offer order processing,
so customers who choose to purchase books directly from the publisher may do
so very conveniently. For orders that we process, we will charge 20 percent
of your book’s sale price to cover our labor and expenses. Shipping is
charged to the buyer.
Distribution
Your title will be listed with Ingram, the industry leader in book distribution
to retailers and libraries. It will also be listed for sale on amazon.com
and barnesandnoble.com. These listings are only available to professional
publishers, and are just one more example of the many advantages in choosing
a full-service publisher. |
